Job Summary and Qualifications

W e are seeking a Wound Care RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary fu nction i s to be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and approved surgical and ambulatory care areas. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will :

• Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process .

• P erform and assist with assessments, interventions, and evaluations for patients with actual or potential wound/ostomy problems.

• Change dressing for patients with Vacuum Assisted Closure (VAC) devices .

• Implement plans of patient ca re.

• Assist in management of pressure ulcers and other wound/skin problems.

• A ssist the Wound & Ostomy CNSs in quality improvement and clinician education activities related to wound and skin care.

Job Requirements :

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diplom a in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required

• BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required

• Successful completion of the certification requirements for enterostomal therapy preferr ed

• 3 years hospital experience in Acute Care preferred

• Previous teaching experience preferred
